Dr. \u00d6nder Metin\u2019in yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u201cY\u00fczey Modifikasyanlar\u0131 \u0130le \u0130ki Boyutlu TMDC Yap\u0131lar\u0131n HER Aktivitelerinin \u0130ncelenmesi\u201d ba\u015fl\u0131kl\u0131 proje, T\u00dcB\u0130TAK 1001 Bilimsel ve Teknolojik Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Projeleri Destekleme Program\u0131 kapsam\u0131nda destek almaya hak kazand\u0131.<br \/>\nD\u00fcnyada fosil enerji kaynaklar\u0131n\u0131n h\u0131zla t\u00fcketilmesi ile birlikte \u00e7evreye zararl\u0131 gazlar\u0131n sal\u0131n\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 azaltabilecek, ucuz, s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir ve zarars\u0131z bir enerji kayna\u011f\u0131 olan hidrojenin enerji \u00fcretiminde kullan\u0131labilece\u011fini s\u00f6yleyen Proje Y\u00fcr\u00fct\u00fcc\u00fcs\u00fc Do\u00e7. Dr. G\u00fcven Turgut, \u201cHidrojenin birim k\u00fctle ba\u015f\u0131na petrol ve t\u00fcrevlerinden daha fazla enerji i\u00e7ermesi, kullan\u0131m\u0131nda \u00e7evreye zararl\u0131 \u00fcr\u00fcn vermemesi gibi avantajlar\u0131 ile yeni t\u00fcr enerji aray\u0131\u015f\u0131nda etkili bir \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm olarak g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor. Hidrojen \u00fcretiminde elektrokataliz\u00f6r olarak kullan\u0131lan Platin\u2019e alternatif olarak d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck maliyetli, y\u00fcksek verimli ve uzun \u00f6m\u00fcrl\u00fc elektrokataliz\u00f6rlerin geli\u015ftirilmesi amac\u0131 ile iki boyutlu ge\u00e7i\u015f metali ikili kalkojen (TMDC) tek tabakal\u0131 malzemelerin hidrojen \u00fcretim etkinliklerinin art\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 b\u00fcy\u00fck \u00f6nem arz etmektedir. Projede literat\u00fcrde ilk kez yeni t\u00fcr fonksiyonel TMDC yap\u0131lar\u0131 ekibimiz taraf\u0131ndan sentezlenecek.
